This number is also tied in to phishing attempts. Received a phishing email purporting to be from Amazon about an order which I never made.

Just got a email, suppose from Amazon, it state that my order was ( an Apple I Phone ) was being shipped to a name and address somewhere in Oregon. At first glance it looked very suspicious, it looked nothing like an Amazon shipping confirmation, and The number to call if any question regarding the order was 1(909-308-2778). Amazon Orders confirmation never have numbers to call, they have a site where to go if there are issues.
