Got a call from 908-280-2682 about a "civil" matter out of the county I NOW live in in SC. Left his name, Brian Walton, and the number 888-409-0647, along with a case number. When you call back, it rings and rings and then goes to a voice mail to leave a msg with all this information. I did NOT leave a msg. If it was urgent or important, they would have answered.
I got a call from 908-280-8206 and the person hung up after I said hello.

I got this call this morning saying they were from the Social Security Administration. He could barely pronounce his name. He gave me his ID number and my case number. All sounded professional, however the Social Security Administration doesn't call you. I told the gentleman on the other end of the line that this was a scam and that he was making me very upset at what he was saying to me. When I kept saying this was a SCAM the man on the other end got real quiet and started to justify his call to me. At that point I hung up the phone.
