claimed to be with my mortgage company and wanted to collect a payment over the phone! I have been scheduling my payments through my bank for years, never been late on any payments so that was the first indication of suspicion! so based on that there is no need to be reaching out to me for a payment. The person proceeded to state facts about my account (which are probably public record, like my address and when I purchased the home) as if to convince me that this was a legit call. At that point I hung up. Posting this here in hope that it will help others.
Unknown caller left voicemail. "This call is to authorize the payment of $1499 for the recent order of Apple MacBook Pro on your Amazon account. If you do not authorize this payment, please press one to speak to our customer service support." I did not place an order with Amazon for a laptop, and no such order shows on my Amazon account. I did not call the number. I will watch my credit card to make sure no such payment posts there.

They claim I have a delinquent account and they will report it to the credit agency No identification which account or where they are texting from. But did leave this number. Call originated from 239-256-7195
