called our landline but didn't leave message. We're in the 901 area code but the CID said it was "out of area". We don't answer unknown calls. This is pure spam or scam.
Someone called today 4-17-19 from that Tennessee number, 901-231-1912, & my answering machine took the call. A woman's voice said Hello three times & sounded like she didn't know an answering machine had answered. Then she said with a questioning tone:: Mr or Mrs. (& used our last name) & said then Hello again before making a sound & hanging up. No other message left. I get dozens of spam calls a week even though we're on the do not call lists. Which is why if they don't leave a message on my answering machine or voice mail message on my cell, I do not answer the call unless I know the number or the name connected with the number.

Trying to sell auto warranty, told them to remove us from list. They kept on pressing i said do you not understand remove me from your list. The woman proceeded to call me a bitch. Stop these people from verbally abusing others in their own home. It is ridiculous.
