Phone call claiming to be Bank of America. Must return their call before MIDNIGHT TONIGHT.
My mom got a collection call from this number stating that it was for an account for my deceased father. They started asking her for information that they cannot legally ask. Luckily she did not give them any information.
Fake BoA that actually knows my name found through public record. I don't even have a BoA account. A real bank will never tell you directly their phone number. They will ask you to call the number on your debit/credit card.
Said it was Bank of America and asked for me or my husband by name-I called it back and it was a robot-asked for the last 4 of my social or account- so I hung up. I looked up the number and found it here. I called BofA- they confirmed my suspicion that it was a scam because they have no record or need to contact me about my accounts at this time.
