All, I'm not sure where you are seeing the Scam part (other than what others are saying incorrectly) but this unfortunately is a Medical Debt Collector. If you have not had any Radiology Test done in the past six months, then they have your phone number by mistake or incorrectly. If you have in fact had an Xray, Ultrasound, MRI, etc, then likely they are legitimately calling you as they believe that you have an outstanding bill. They are NOT asking for any private information other than for you to confirm your name. I thought they were a Scam, then I spoke to my Radiologist and they confirmed I had an outstanding bill. Yuck. I own it, and now I will have to pay it....but sadly, it's not a Scam.

I got a call from this number too and thought it was a total scam. But once i received my correspondance and confirmed with my insurance provider i realized it was actually legitimate. The reason you get the name Radnet is bc Radnet corporate office and they owns several radiology locations through out the entire country as shown in their website. I really did my research on them. In my state, its Lennox Hill Radiology but it may be a different name in your state. You also have to understand that we as patients provide give our contact information and if they call, they are handling our personal and private medical information. They by law cannot just begin giving out private info without confirming you are the patient or just give it to your spouse bc he/she says he/she is your spouse or anyone at all. thankfully i was able to confirm and resolve my acct with them. I am glad they made sure it was me they were speaking to before going over my very personal account.

I got the same call Radnet Radiology. I gave her my Dr's name and my DOB and she knew all the info. I wonder if Radnet Radiology is hacked.

I received the same "time sensitive matter" BS. If you guys find out where these calls are originating from please provide an address, I want to invite them to play BASEBALL!

"Greg" called from same 888-982-6834 about a "time sensitive matter" and referenced "ADV-184479" No company name, no last name for Greg, no explanation about anything. Too bad so many people are so gullible as to feel compelled to return all calls, no matter who it's from. No caller ID available? RED FLAG Blocked #? RED FLAG No message left? RED FLAG Cryptic message like this attempting to entice call back? RED FLAG and I call BS!

This is a scam. They call multiple times a day. They leave messages about time sensitive matter. Other sites have linked it to all kinds of scams. Do not answer or call back, Block the number.

Got a call from a local phone number 609-248-9747 asking me to verify medical information regarding a radiology test I had done last week. I told her I don't give personal information on the phone, and to provide a phone number where I can call her back. The number she provided is 888-982-6834. I Googled that number and saw that it's associated with scams. I called my local radiology office and they said nobody should be calling asking for personal information, and they know nothing about it. So I called the 888 number back and spoke with someone who sounded very professional and legitimate. She said she's with "Radnet Radiology" in Texas and they handle billing issues for several radiology companies throughout the country. She gave me their address and asked if I wanted to speak to her manager. I said no, that if there are any billing issues I will contact our local radiology office. So I'm still not sure if this was a legitimate call or not, but I'm going to err on the safe side.
