Someone claiming to be from Ford wanted to talk to a Dakota Hampton about their warranty coverage. I have had to deal with identity theft in the past, so this concerned me.
The FTC has logged 6 complaints against 888-805-7233. Callers did not flag this number as a robocall in any of the complaints. The last of these complaints was submitted on March 24, 2026. Complaints were reported from Virginia, Illinois, New Hampshire, North Carolina and Pennsylvania. The cities with the most complaints were Nashua, Fayetteville and Factoryville.
