Got a call from 8888032210?

Received a call from 1-888-803-2210 and a man who identified himself as "James" claimed he was calling about a Verizon/AOL email address and claimed that pornography was being sent from a person in Texas. He asked for equipment information for my computer, which I refused, as I was not home. He said he would call back. After giving it thought, I called the number back and he answered. I asked what company he was calling from and he stated he is calling from McAfee and that my email address was associated with my McAfee account. Since I have not used McAfee for several years, I assumed this was a scam until Googling the phone number and finding many of these stems accounts. This is a SCAM!

Caller said he was with AOL and my email address had been used to download pron material to a computer in Texas. Wanted serial number of all devices connected to Internet in my home. I refused. Insistent on selling me upgraded Apple+1 or 2 to sync all devices to protect from this happening again. I did nothing, hung up with resistance from caller.
