Got unwanted call from 888-693-6088?
THIS IS NOT A SCAM!! Evicore is a well known company that does authorizations for certain procedures. They check with the consumer to make sure you really had the procedure to stop fraud. They also do prior auth for Ins companies.
The caller said they were from CIGNA gave a 9 digit number to confirm dr. request for treatment that the dr. had requested
It is from vendor Evercore to confirm my Aetna treatment request. if you do not wait a ping sound to enter the treat case number, the message will say the case number is incorrect. Wait for the ping sound, and then enter the case number. This is to confirm your treatment.
888-693-6088 message says it is from Aetna and provided a treatment request case number. I called my Aetna direct and gave my ID# with that treatment request case number, and they said the call is from vendor Evercore to confirm my treatment request.
Received a call and this was Aetna confirming a service my doctor ordered. This was not a scam! the number 888-693-6088 was a good number from Aetna.
got a call from this # and they gave me a case number and said they were from Cigna.
They left a message claiming to be Aetna. I called this number back and they said I had the wrong number.
automated call claiming to be Aetna approving a treatment requested by my doctor and requesting personnel info. scam took wrong info and tried to process further.

At first I thought was scam but it turned out to be Aetna approving a treatment requested by my doctor. It is automated call but they left a message and I was able to call back
