they tried to put ransom ware on our computer if you get a message to call them just unplug the computer and plug back in in about 5 minutes
We got a very loud and alarming popup that said we had a virus. We called the number, I hung up they called back and long story short in the end, wanted money and now we have a virus.
We received a warning on our computer stating do not shut down the computer and call the 888 number. We did this and got some help. My wife called our son and he told us it was a scam. I hung up.
Called me about trying to get me to buy expensive firewall protection after a virus was found on my computer. Very persistent on trying to get me to buy. Got suspicious after wanting me to talk to a senior technician after putting me on hold. I hung up. Person called back at phone #888-658-2111. Left message about calling him back. I didn't call back. Did not trust these people. I think they are scam artists trying to get your money.
