Got a call from 8886533910?
Same as the caller on August 2nd. Call and text up to 30 times per day from multiple numbers. State they are from Health Markets; Assurance Health; America's Health Insurance. I am on the do not call list, they do not care. I tried calling back on a few of the lines and they hang up on me. I have not asked for health insurance quotes.
Per the other comment, the calls started about 15 minutes after receiving the following text message: "Stone Find an Afforable Health Plan That Covers Your Needs Today. Call (888) 653-3910 & Speak to a Licensed Agents Now! Rply STOP to stop". The message was from short code 69349. I have been receiving upwards to 30 calls a day from this scammer. Each time they leave a voice message that is about 1-2 minutes long. They have 5 different voice messages that they randomly rotate through and leave. Generally, it's the same message from a fake person named Cole who wants me to call him back at (888) 653-3910. I have permanently blocked their numbers. However, that only solves the issue for 1 to 2 days. After which, the number changes to something new. So far I have had to block: 412-542-3967 215-543-6819 412-348-8653 412-387-1295 The latest number I blocked via my Cell Company and they now seem to be able to still send me calls by appending addtional characters to the phone number (ie: 412-542-3967?rn=12345) I would estimate that I have deleted near 200 messages over the past 2 weeks. At one point, my voice mail box filled up. This is super frustrating.
I LIVE IN OHIO.. THIS ALL STARTED WITH A TEXT MESSAGE ON A TUESDAY NIGHT AT 10:34 PM (I HAVE WORK IN THE MORNING & THEY WOKE ME UP!!!). TEXT MESSAGE SAYS THEY'RE APOLLO ALERTS AND ARE LICENSED HEALTH INSURANCE AGENT LOOKING TO GIVE ME A QUOTE. I KNOW THIS IS A SCAM SO I TEXTED BACK "STOP" TO OPT OUT OF ALERTS AND THEN BLOCKED THAT NUMBER AND THEN I RECEIVED TWO MORE TEXTS FROM DIFFERENT NUMBERS TELLING ME TO CALL THEM FOR A QUOTE. I BLOCKED THOSE NUMBERS AND THEN I HAVE BEEN GETTING NUMEROUS CALLS FROM ALL DIFFERENT NUMBERS THIS MORNING (7 CALLS WITHIN AN HOUR)! I JUST KEEP BLOCKING THE NUMBERS; THEY DIDN'T LEAVE ANY VOICEMAILS. ALSO, I DID NOT GIVE MY NUMBER OUT OR SIGN UP TO RECEIVE INFO ABOUT HEALTH INSURANCE.. I AM NOT LOOKING FOR HEALTH INSURANCE AND THEY KEEP ADDRESSING ME AS MANDY--MY NAME IS NOT MANDY!
