Called my dad and mother-in-law to try to collect a debt on my husband from 12 years ago that's already paid off. when I called back he said that he was going to garnish my husband's wages that night if we didn't send $4,000 of the $6,000 debt that was owed. when I told him that he personally cannot garnish my husband's wages he got upset and angry raised his voice and told me I can't tell him what he can do and send him the $4,000 he is a scammer! When I asked him to tell me my husband's full social security number he was only able to provide me the last four digits. I told him that he should know the whole number if he is planning to garnish wages tonight he got even more upset with me.
