Exact same message received today with a slight difference in the amount - $979.99.
Got a call from 888 521-1936 yesterday. It said it was the Amazon Fraud Department and my charge card has been used for a purchase in the amount of $979.79.

Exact same message for me just moments ago - wrote down the number and googled it and found this string - had a robotic voice and appeared to be from an individual David Beckett in Alaska (907)351-9940- but I figured it was a fraud so just hung up after writing down the 888 #. Checked my acct online - no activity - amount was same as 1st message in this string
