They have called several times, always the same message about Microsoft shutting down and wanting to issue a refund for service warranties. All BS. Some one needs to jerk their phone out of the wall.
I didn't answer & they left a message saying I had paid for something that I certainly had not paid for. Pretended to be calling from Microsoft "because it has been ordered to shut down, etc" Saying I was due a refund, etc. Of course I did not call or order anything.

I guess they think everyone is an ignorant fool!
Calling claiming to be microsoft - fraud.

non stop calls and messages for more that a year
Called this a.m., male's voice muttered something unintelligible and sounded like children giggling on my voice mail.
Not on my list of callers
calls periodically. not answered as unknown number. suspect scammer
Robocall claiming to be Kathy Jackson from Microsoft and I am due a refund for software I purchased and they have been ordered to shut down and refund the money. Direct to call 888-497-1141.
Obvious fraud . Called once so far . Says I am due a refund for software due to the unidentified company being ordered shut down . This is very peculiar since I have not purchased any software recently and know that the last company from whom software was purchased is still in business and going strong . If this call purportedly is from Microsoft , Microsoft should find the perpetrator and squash them .
Called our business number, left message stating that it was the refund department for Microsoft, that a refund was available, arrangements to be made by calling 888-497-1111. Called back, asked the person at the other end whose native language is not English, to tell me the name of our business, to which he responded, "This is a business number?", then promptly hung up without waiting for a reply.
Another call claiming that I am due a refund for services I purchased and that they were ordered to shut down and refund the money. This was not the first one I have received and probably will not be the last. Very poor computer generated voice. Hope that Microsoft goes after them full force since they do identify themselves as Microsoft. Screams fraud/scam/fishing in that they probably just want your credit card information to remove money from it. Not Microsoft!! and probably an out of country call center.
A garbled phone call indicating that some company, name unrecognized because of the garble, is closing and I am eligible for a refund. Calls multiple times a day and multiple times within an hour. VERY annoying.
5/16/19 Robocall: Calling to refund my money due to the company being ordered to close down. Then to call 888-497-1141. No company named.
The recording says it is Kathy Jackson calling about a refund due you from Microsoft since they are closing. It then tells you to call 866-237-2001
