Started calling me a few days ago. Makes several calls every day. I do not answer these calls and the caller does not leave a message. CallerID reports the caller as: ARCLO 1-888-391-3585. This number has been reported in the past as a scammer, spoofing themselves as AARP, when in fact they are data mining victims to try and obtain credit card information, etc.
The FTC has received 36 complaints about 888-391-3585. Most complaints (75%) identified the call as a robocall or recorded message. The last of these complaints was submitted on June 3, 2020. Complaints came from 14 states, including Virginia, New York, Nevada, Florida, New Jersey and Ohio. The cities with the most complaints were Stephens City, Alexandria, Fernley, Debary, Atco and Belleville.
