Nationwide Recovery Systems debt collector. Mostly call and hang up so they can count it as an attempt to reach you. They refuse to send a bill and want your personal info to pay by phone. If you don't give it to them, they become rude and hang up on you. Must not want money too bad if they can't even speak civilly to me.
Got a call from 888-383-7536 pretending to be Law Offices of Stephen Johnson (Auburn, CA) they provided no real info, a case # that changed 2 times during the call and they wanted to verify social security #s of my mother & sibling. The only thing they had was an address and a phone #. This is FRAUD impersonating a legit legal representation in an effort to scam information off of people illegally.
I get these all the time. I don’t answer what I don’t know. I’m on the do not call list, but still keep getting calls. Alit from the 512 area code, Texas.
This number was being used by a company claiming to work with RCI to rent my free weeks (which I don't have) for $2100 per week. They wanted to sell me a membership that would allow them to rent my weeks (which I don't have) and asked for my banking info to collect membership fee and to deposit my check for $6300 for 3 weeks of vacation time that are due to expire. This is a SCAM. They call from an Arizona number (602) 362-2114, then call you back when from this 888 number when its time to talk money.
Keep getting calls for a person we don't know about lawyers trying to get in touch with him. Then they leave a case number and phone number.
