Got an AT&T mail asking to call this number 888-278-1470 to confirm information on the account. Made a research and realized this is a scam. They even have a fake AT&T website.
Got a call from 888-278-1470 stating to call back to verify EBB with discounted internet services thru government. Called to confirm with Affordable Care Program (ACP) or formerly the Emergency Broad Band (EBB) program. I immediately called the ACP to verify a legit phone number. I was told no longer called EBB and It was escalated, they were not aware at the time. "DO NOT GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION"

Got a call from this number to verify acp benefit. They wanted my social security number so I told them no and called att directly and called acp directly and they didn't need anything from me. Now I'm getting emails about it saying they are going to cut my benefit of I don't call this number 888.278.1470 probably want my personal info again. Att told me not to give out my personal info without calling them directly
