At least 11 consumers from New York, Utah, Florida, Indiana, Louisiana, and 4 other states reported phone number 888-249-1479 to the Federal Trade Commission. 36% of complaints reported the call or text message as a robocall or recorded message. The last complaint was on January 22, 2021.

888-249-1479 -aka- 866-754-5368 -aka- 858-712-0150 just called our business. Caller ID came up as "Appointment Sett". Pushy female caller refused to give her name, but stated that she worked for someone named "Jody Kraus" (Who the heck is Jody Kraus? She acted like we were supposed to know who that is. We have no clue who that is and don't really care to either.) She insisted, repeatedly, on speaking with the owner. Then stated that "You sound like the owner, so you can make decisions, right?". When told that the owner is not available, she hung up on us. Found out her company is called - Appstar Merchant Credit Card Services -aka- Appstar Financial Credit Card Merchant Services, 4619 Viewridge Avenue, Suite C, San Diego, CA 92123-5611 - http://www.appstar.net | We'll be blocking all of her numbers immediately.
