Complaints about Phone Numbers888-240-####

I got a call saying a person was trying to buy a I phone on my Amazon account which I do not have a Amazon account

Got a call from this # 888-240-8861 today and in the past Scam telling me my coverage is going to run out I need to call or they will close my file

Keeps calling, multiple times on each day and hangs up with no msg. Dates are January 8,9,10th of 2020 No clue who the heck it is, and I want it to stop or a blasted reason why they are ringing my phone!

This called called, told I owed over 200,000 on a property I own at a specific street. I rent and don't even own a home, it's ridiculous how they're targeting the wrong people. When I told her to put me on her do not call list she told me that she would as soon as I answered her question. I once again asked her to put me on the do not call list and she then told me she would call again. I have respect for people with these types of jobs because everyone's got to make money, but certainly not for this individual.

This number was listed as a number for Amazon when I was trying to track a shipped package. Ended up talking to someone with a foreign accent, that in turn wanted to access my computer. Beware!!!!! I ended conversation without any further interaction with them.
