Who called me from this phone number (888) 231-0757

I've received a call about my account being closed. I don't if I can trust them.

Got a call from 888-231-0757 about a message about my account. No account at wells fargo.

Didn’t know my name, claims to be Sarah from Wells Fargo prevention dept

Allegedly from Wells Fargo security with a case number and a request for callback. It was not from the bank.

Impersonating Wells Fargo

Claimed to be Wells Fargo Fraud Prevention and gave me a reference number asking me to call them back. I just called the real Wells Fargo Fraud Department instead and they said that this was a scam.

Got a call. They said they are Wells Fargo fraud dept. Wanted to verify a ck. I told them I would have to call bk. Number they gave me 800-383-5717 and gave me a reference number. I knew it was BS I never called

SCAM !!!! Called and said from Wells Fargo. Asked me how many accounts do I have... I stopped right there and said I will call my branch. Branch said this is a scam call.

I received a call from 888-231-0757 saying that a check I wrote was intercepted in the mail, stolen and deposited into a Wells Fargo customer account. I was told to file a stolen check claim with my bank, America's Christian Credit Union and then have a "hold harmless' form completed so the money (over $900) could be sent back to my bank. I called this number back to speak to the "fraud" dept. at Wells Fargo and they could not help me because I was not given a claim number from the original caller. I called my bank and they told me to google this number and see if it was a scam. Apparently it is. UGH!!!

Call from 88-231-0757 showed as Wells Fargo on caller id. I returned the call and the recording said it was the fraud dept @ WF. asked for my last four (which I stated) and then for my card# (didn't give it). I knew at that point it was a scam.

I got three letters from this supposed agency claiming to be Wells Fargo, in the span of three days, saying that my accounts were being closed, and the call that number. I called the number, they were talking about some medical emergency, and I hung up. I tracked the Sioux Falls Address, and although Wells Fargo does have an address, it is not the P.O Box from the letter, And the company does not have a "Fraud and Claims Department", as seen from the website here. https://www.wellsfargo.com/help/addresses/ Despite it all, this is a scam.

Received a call from a woman claiming to be from Wells Fargo. Have received emails and very official looking letters, all saying various things but to call 1-888-231-0757. It’s all a scam. Report to Wells Fargo and the Office of the Attorney General

About 3 months ago I received 3 letters in a few weeks timespan from Wells Fargo saying I had tried to open a deposit account but unfortunately they weren't able to open the account at that time. 3 letters saying this! And I have no accounts with Wells Fargo nor have I tried to get one. This 800 number is listed in the letters. Then about 6 weeks ago I received 2 letters, same Wells Fargo saying congrats on your new account. I googled about it being a scam so I chose to do nothing. Today I recieved 2 letters saying Subject: Closure of your deposit accounts and lists an account number with X's only but showing the last 4 digits.

Received a letter via email saying they were closing our account ending in **** - we have accounts with WF but none with the number listed. The letter was signed by the fraud department with the same 888 number listed above in other posts. Looks very real but with an account number not valid and this website, obviously a scam.

Got letter in mail, saying I had 2 accounts with Wells Fargo. It went on to say the accounts would be closed and I need to call....SCAM!

Just got a call wanting me to call them. I don't have an account with them. The number is 18882310757.

Received two messages from this number yesterday. Said she was Amber with Wells Fargo and I needed to call about a case number. I have never had anything with Wells Fargo!

I received a Fraud & claim management letter from from wells fargo bank. I even received a bank card in the mail the same day. It's a scam do not call the number on the back of the card and do not call the Fraud claims number on the paper do not I repeat do not call. Do not give these people any of your information and do not enter any pin numbers when asked to do so
