In voicemail my name was used to respond to prompts (if you're the person we're calling, if the person we're calling is available but needs a minute to come to the phone, if it's the correct number but the person they're trying to reach is unavailable, etc. I Googled the number and search results included a bank I use. I called the bank and they have NOT tried to contact me, no irregular transactions, etc. and indicated it was fraud.
Got a text appearing to be from Truist (BBT) saying my cell number had been removed from the alerts, and if not me to call 888-228-6654. Went online to confirm that my cell was still active on my alerts and it was. Called the main Truist number and was able to confirm that all was well. If I had called the scam number they would have tried to get account numbers, social security number and PIN.
An email from as BB&T bank stated that my credit card number had been accessed. When calling the above number, I was asked to provide them with my SSN. For the hell of it, I accessed the prompt and was connected with a Chinese website. STAY AWAY111
