I got a missed call and they left a blank voicemail! I have already told Envision to stop calling multiple times
yes and I agree it is a medication support program. I called them back and they wanted to know if I understand my medications, do I remember to take them and do I need any help with my medications. Not a scam but a bother. I didn’t know I could opt out as mentioned above.
On signing up for the Insurance I opted out of any calls from any organizations other than my insurance company but I still received this call. I also have a "Do Not Call" listed number Since the caller ID and Message showed the exact name of my insurance company I called the 888-214-9427 number given in the message left by the call from 617-449-7555. Melisa answered giving the same company name and after confirming my name and address asked me about only one of my medicines and how often I take it. In hind-site I should have called the number on my insurance card instead, which I later did. They confirmed I was opted out and stated calls from the Insurance company would start with 1-800 or 1-866. (not 1-888) If all this is is to find out if I am taking my medicines or not I would have preferred to receive something in the mail. This phone call comes across as spam, or worse, the way it is being done.
This is the number to a medication support program for Envision insurance members.
Appears to be a scam of some kind. Message is identical to that below in comments.
