I got the same experience with them. I got threatened unless I pay on the spot. They don't accept checks. They got me unfortunately to pay by credit card. That was a huge mistake. Please don't pat them a penny. They are a fraudulent collection agencie. They collect expired debt that shouldn't be collected any more. They pay pennys for expired debt and they do illegal things to collect money from the public. Don't pay them any thing and report them to the general attorney office of your state also report them to the federal trade commission. When they call you next time ask them to give a licence # for their business and you will see how illegal they are and they have no licence number. Simply a fake name and fake address doing illegal and fraudulent things for platinum holdings LLC at 20422 beach boulevard #245 Huntington beach CA 92648. Basically a one person business buying public information legally and using a fake business name and address to cheat the public by harassing them and deceiving them with fake law suits and arrests. A bunch of criminals that should be arrested

Caller says that they are some kind of legal department and that they have a lawsuit against my ss number. Not only are they harassing me but also my family. WHAT CAN I DO TO STOP THIS???????
