My message was from a "Glenn". They must have gotten their hands on an American Express list. I've opted out of Amex selling my name to third parties, etc. I'll have to call Amex.
Hang up. Annoying scam artist
This is a total scam!! They say they are calling on behalf of American Express. Fortunately, my phone identified them as a spam risk, so I didn't answer. They left a voicemail. What a joke.
This is a legitimate business working on behalf of American Express. If you actually accept the call you will learn that they are either calling to welcome you as a card member, or simply check in on how things are going. They also aim to help make sure you are getting the most rewards and benefits available from your Amex business card. This is not a scam, or a sales call. The actual company they are employed with is Salelytics, which used to be West corporation. Which is a company American Express contracts with to do business on their behalf. Take the call, or don’t. But it is not a scam.
Received a call from (888) 211-3818 spoke with Lynn, says she was calling from American Express. Asked for the owner and office manager and was very rude when I asked her for the basic information before transferring her call. I ended up getting her number after she was nasty and filed it in the trash!!
Wanted to help grow my business myass. Scam alert
"Chad" called and left a WM referring my wife and I by first name which is not my experience, googled number and came up with this website and multiple others, seems to be a sales call.
Person called my number from this number claiming to be from American Express and stating that they wanted to help me with my business. I thought it was a scam call
Similar message, the caller said called from American express which happens to be lie. This is scam. Glad people have reported, which helped me to verify it was a scam.
