Got a text from 877-557-0506 from Truist fraud saying someone tried to charge
As with many posters, a voicemail I received from this number claimed to be from Truist Fraud Prevention and Claims Department about possible fraudulent usage of a debit card. After checking my account and what the actual Truist customer service number is, I didn't return the call and blocked the #. Helpful to see confirmation here that it is just a scam call.
Got a text claiming that they were Truist and there may have been fraudulent activity on my card and to call this number.

Got a robocall from this number about potential fraud from Truist account. Googled number and found this site. I opened my Truist app and there was a warning about the same. I’m currently overseas and Truist put the charge on hold until I verified that it was indeed a legit purchase. You can always check your Truist app or call the number in the back of your card to verify everything is ok. Even though this number is legit, I’d still only call the number in back of card just to be on the safe side.
