They wanted to get information about a case file and gave me a case # to refer to. I keep getting these calls at least monthly.

got a call from them asking for medical records, with no specifics continuously calls and it shows up as spam. this appears to be a scam.
Call came from 929-415-3511 but instructed to call back at 1-877-445-9293 on behalf of UHC/Optum for medical records request. They asked for information on a patient that doesn't even have this insurance.

A cardiology practice is where I work. Got a call voice message from 1-877-445-9293. "DeeAnn" on behalf of (unintellible) request for united healthcare. Outreach reference number was provided.
Callers left two messages but gave very little information. Said they were calling regarding medical records but did not mention my name, my psychology practice name, or any patient name. The call came from (929) 415 3511 but they asked me to call back at (877) 445 9293. Both numbers have been tagged as spam callers.
Keeps calling multiple times, leaving voicemails - requesting personal information and medical records on patients and providers we don't have.
Claimed to be with United Healthcare and wanted medical records for doctors that aren't employed by us but are contracted and some do not work here they only have privileges to work at out facility.
"Nicco" who barely speaks English keeps calling wanting medical records. I told him to have the patient call me. He then hangs up. He will call back in few minutes
request for medical records. medicare and united insurance both instructed me not to comply. I continue to reeive fax and phone call request for records. I contacted the patients which did not give me permission to release records.
