Complaints about Phone Numbers877-212-####

I received a recorded message from the phone number 1-800-736-3383, telling me to call 877-212-3610 about the purchase of a television. I never purchased a tv.

877-212-9164 is a scammer posing as debt collection agent / credit bills schemes and amazon online shopping scam / warrants lawsuit against me and settlement money payment plan requested.

I got a call from (800)342-5397, which is the legitimate phone number for the City of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, but we know that scammers can and do impersonate what number they want to show on your caller ID... The guy, not a recording, said that my electrical service is due for disconnection today, I asked for the service address and he provided my correct address, he then asked me to call the number above, 877-212-8631, to reach the billing department and make a payment!... What an elaborate scam! I go online to check my account status, it is current. And this phone number is not listed under DWP website as their contact!!! Beware!

Capstone Law Office claiming to be collecting a Capitol One credit card debt from 2005...attempted to con personal info from me and claimed to be a tax attorney, going to cost me thousands in taxes, fines, penalties, arrest and incarceration if I didn't pay him $635 immediately....all very interesting since I have never had a Capitol One credit card of any type in my lifetime nor would I have ever signed a contract using the name he cited for 2005! Folks, hang up, block all the phone numbers you can locate for Capstone Law on the internet and notify IRS, BBB, FTC, FCC, DoNotCall Registry and any companies, individuals, banks, mortgage lenders which Capstone Law claims to be representing, as in scams focusing on fraudulent money collection schemes...shut them down!
