Publishers clearinghouse scam

Claimed to be publishers clearing house.

Caller ID said it was from Kingston Jamaica. Knowing it was scam I played along and wasted 5 minutes of his time. I then placed the number on my blocked call list.

I got a phone call from this number st 5:44am Christmas morning. Not the way I planned on waking up Christmas and definitely not that early. Not ok at all.

Calls saying you have won Publishers Clearing House. Calls back after you hang up repeatedly.

Caller pretending to be Publisher Clearing House Claims Dept. (sic) - asked for me to return phone call (317) 743-1472.

Foreign language accent pretending to call about a package to be delivered to my house. Asked who it was and just gave me his own personal name, not a company. Called me Mr. Michael even though that's my first name.

Left message I won 5.5 million, plus a Mercedes Benz from PCH. I was suspicious, since I know PCH does a big "to do" in presenting these types of prizes. Plus, you can't win, if you don't enter, which I didn't!! It would have been nice if I did win!!

Called about listing in Publishers Clearing House. Inquired if I had received a letter. Hung up abruptly. ID said "Kingston"
