Complaints about Phone Numbers876-443-####

I just got the same call telling me I won $3 million from Publishers Clearing House. I told them I hadn't bought any magazines so I couldn't have won. I gave them a fake email to send the info to.

Did not answer no message. I know no one in Jamaica mon.

3 calls within a few minutes, hung up on all of them when I saw the number calling from was not recognized.

I received a phone message from 876-443-5831 and was told I had won a car and 5 million dollars. I didn’t call back after I googled this number. They want you to pay 1% of taxes upfront. It’s a scam.

I received a phone call from 876-378-8422 which came up as coming from Kingston, Surrey County (after that it said Jamaica but I would have had to be able to open it to see that on my phone). I was told the caller's name is Kevin Smirgh and he was calling on behalf of Publisher's Clearing House. He told me I had won $250K and a new Mercedes Benz. I didn't believe him since I don't do PCH but I played along. He told me they are going to deliver my prize to my home today (and he knew what state I was in --- probably from my area code). He told me to call 1-876-443-3209 and speak with that department about my winnings and set up delivery. I asked him if that is a toll-free number and he said no---it is a "long line" number. I suspect if I called that number I would be charged exorbitant amounts of money per minute and they would keep me on the line as long as possible. I GOOGLED the number they told me to call and it is tied to and has been reported as being associated with fraud.

Being cussed out if you tell the man not to call back. Said I one 1 million dollars and would have to pay a fee to get my money. I do not answer it anymore. Now I get the same number calling nearly everyday but I do not answer it. I have complained to the Federal Trade Commission but nothing is getting done! I should not have to put up with this! This jerk id commiting a fraud and a scam! He needs to be in prison!!

The man called my police issued work phone. He said he was from Publishers Clearing House and the number said it was from Jamaica. He asked me how I was doing today and I politely asked “Can I ask who is speaking?”, he advised me he was from PCH. I again, politely, said “This is a government phone - can you remove me from any call lists you may have, please?” The man told me “The government can go fuck your mother”. I paused. And then said excuse me? And he said it again. At that point, my husband had heard what was going on. and as soon as my husband said hello? Who is this? The man hung up and didn’t want to speak to him.

Received 3 calls within a few minutes from David Cooper staring he was with Publishers Clearing House and I won money. Explained I was going to hospital to check on Mother emergency, did not have time to talk. I hung up. He immediately phoned back asking if I wanted the money. (I had not signed up with pch, so I knew this was a scam.)told him if was true, pch knew where I lived, and I did NOT have time to deal with his hoax. He hung up.
