I received a cold call and was informed I had won $3million plus a new 2019 car. I had to buy a receipt for $499 to give to the people who would deliver the prize. I respectfully declined the kind offer and the caller hung up.
Man claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House. Spoke very unprofessionally seemed like a scam I hung up on them.
Publishers Clearing House scam. Pretends that you'll get a prize if you send them money.
My mother received a call from this number, stating that she had won $7,000 a week for life plus a brand new Mercedes Benz from Publisher's Clearing House. She supposedly talked to "Dave Sayer" and he asked her to pay $1,400 for some kind of delivery fee. He went out of his way to confirm that PCH had been trying to reach her via postal mail, and that they wanted to deliver the "big check" with flowers, balloons, the whole nine, all from the famous prize van. My mother told him she would clear it with her attorney and call him back the next day, but he then hung up. So she called the number back and they answered it as PCH, even got him back on the phone and he apologized, saying he didn't know what happened to the connection. Again she confirmed that she would run everything by her attorney and call him the next day, so he agreed. Obviously she then realized it was a scam and did not bother to call back, once she researched the PCH Website, where they explicitly state that they will NEVER attempt to call you or reach you by phone ahead of time. What an awful scam. These predators prey on the elderly and those are most financially vulnerable, it's just DISGUSTING.

Wow! 'Kevin' called and left a message after hours saying his wife (Maria's) mother was hospitalized. Wanted to speak with the Pastor. Pastor tried to call but no answer. He called back to church number asking for Pastor. Told him I had done a number search on him. He became extremely irate, threatened me, called me a bit..., told me I was going straight to hell, cursed repeatedly. I asked for his full name since we keep records of visitors. Said his last name was Nanco.
