robo call stating some case # which I couldn't understand and said I had a federal felony case against me. said to call their # and they would provide me with details regarding my case. screw 'em.
Was at work when the call came. It was a robo call talking about tax evasion and could be arrested if the call was ignored and a warrant would be initiated. How are they able to get away with this?
Guy kept telling me I couldn't hang up and call back or else my arrest warrant would be initiated. Only things he verified were publicly available info. Told me I owed $2182 due to taxes 2014-2018 and that I should've received my audit in mail (which I didn't). He kept reiterating that it was a federal crime to keep me in his scam. Once I hung up, I got 3 calls in a row from Washington DC numbers.
