I got called from three different numbers: 866-964-5769, 800-120-9613 and 800-361-8680 all indicating my social security had fraudulent activity in Texas to hear more detail press 1 then the call disconnects. SS administration would contact you via mail- they DO NOT call you. This is someone trying to obtain your identity.
800-059-3240 and 800-090-0990 and 866-964-5769 all calls about SS# problems and press one to speak to officer. I do nothing and call ends.
Trying to get my SS#
Called 3 times in one day. Doesn’t show up with any info. When I look it says unknown. I looked it up and others have said it’s a SS scam.
Called me (3) times today, left the same voice mail all 3 times: Never says who the call is from, but tells me I NEED to call them.
Received an telephone call from a gentleman ( 1-866-964-5769) saying he was from Social Security asking for my Social Security when I refused he told me my Social Security number would easer by the government. The guy that call was very mad when I would not give him my SS number. The caller ID also has from Social Security. I know that Social Security sends letters they do not do any phone calls.
