Who called me from this phone number (866) 840-0387

Caller ID number- 866-840-0387. Claimed to be calling from "my county" as a courtesy call prior to being served to let me know a summons had been issued for fraudulent activity. Stated if I am contesting charges or want more information to call the party directly at 888-808-6757. Then stated I would need to refer to case number.....and no number was given, call simply ended. (My location is WInston Salem, NC)
