Telling me I qualified for student loan forgiveness but on my business line that is only for work.

Said I had been selected for student loan forgiveness program (except I'm already enrolled in similar program through Nelnet). Scam. And it came from a 480 area code registered to a cellphone in Alabama....but left 866 number to callback.

At least 3 consumers from Florida, Virginia reported phone number 866-669-4382 to the Federal Trade Commission. 100% of complaints reported the call or text message as a robocall or recorded message. The last complaint was on August 20, 2019.

Got a call from the following phone number 815-863-4671 from a girl named "Megan" saying she is calling me about Student Debt Forgiveness and to call her back at 866-669-4382. I knew this is a scam, but tried calling that 866 number while blocking my phone number from showing up on their caller id... it wouldn't allow the call to go thru. So, I called normally and the phone just rang and rang and rang and rang. Mind you this was to return the call I got 4 mins prior. If you call the number they supposedly called from, the 815 number... it says the number you are calling is an incorrect number. 815 is for Rutland,Illinois
