At least 8 consumers from Arizona, Florida, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, and 3 other states reported phone number 866-642-0444 to the Federal Trade Commission. 50% of complaints reported the call or text message as a robocall or recorded message. The last complaint was on June 13, 2022.

No message left (my phone is set up to not ring if it's an unrecognized number. This number traces back to a company called QWest, a wholly owned subsidiary of Century Link (which is apparently NOW owned by Lumens Technologies. If Century Link sounds familiar, they ALSO own Level 3 Communications, home to Spammers R Us. And which got a nearly 8 MILLION dollar phone for lying about the fiberoptic cable lines they DIDN'T run along some highway in Massachusetts a few years ago (I saw the legal brief/settlement online while looking up Level 3 Communications LLC -- MA the other night). So, this is just a different flavor of the same BS....
