Student Loan scam. I went to my student loan page and there were no messages indicating any student loan repayment changes. Additionally, I saw a report on this site where the exact same message left in my voicemail was written out verbatim. The phone number that left the voicemail was 1-708-761-9661.
A recording with a woman saying that she is Stephanie Lawrence and she is calling about a new program to pay off student loans. She leaves a number to call 866-620-2002 and a reference number 770009 for when I call back. I do not have any outstanding student loans and I've asked to be taken off their call list several times.
