Who called me from this phone number (866) 465-6491

FAMS or Financial Asset Management Systems in regards of private student loans that are from 2002-2006.

Received Robocall from 866.465.6491. Unknown caller. No message left. Hang up. No idea who it was but since there have been numerous complaints to the FCC I do not want to take the call anyway. Most likely a scam call.

Financial Asset Management Systems, Inc. called from (866) 465-6491 at 2:55 p.m. on 1-21-2020 this is the fifth number they have used to call me. Three of the number have been fake local numbers. My student loans defaulted and were charged off three years ago. The original lender can no longer sue me to collect the debt I still owe. Not going to pay the debt therefore no reason to answer the phone. They sent one letter late December 2019 that was torn up and recycled. Screen all your calls, these people have called me for almost 5 years normally every few months out of the year because I do not answer calls from numbers I do not know AND refuse to call numbers back that do not leave a message. Eight years ago if you stopped answering the calls they stop calling, first the calls become more infrequent then they stop. Now it seems as long as the phone rings (even if there is No answer EVER) they will continue to call. The first 2 months they start strong (three plus calls a week), then it falls to four or so times a month for the next three - four months. You can send them a letter they have to sign for to get them to stop calling but I prefer them calling since the number is not my main number. It is fun for them to keep trying, makes me feel important for them to continue to beg. They can call the number they have, it is normally off unless I'm expecting a call. Will let it ring too after silencing the ringer on my end if the phone is on. It only bothered me when they had my main number, my friends and family number. Once I got a block on the main number they were regulated to my business number that is frequenly dormant. It has been wonderful.

At 08:50 unidentified caller from this number repeated a name several times and then said "we only have to call once" and disconnected call. Suspect scam call.
