Got unwanted call from 866-419-5000?
Repeated calls labeled EMERGENCY COMM
Call was received at 3:37 AM, Tuesday morning. Did ANY company expect the call to be answered at this time, in the middle of the night?
I got an emergency call twice from 866 419 5000
Supposedly a code Red Alert to shelter in place for 2 hours
Att phone lines are down?
Interesting. This number called me at work and left a voicemail concerning a local incident which the city PD was actively working. Since I'm currently listening on my scanner to the PD trying to find a suspect who shot at them (no one was hurt) and then ran off, in a neighborhood just north of my work location, I'm inclined to believe this call was legit.
I live in Boise, ID. Received a call from 866-419-5000 on March 22, 2022 at 3:00 PM. Caller ID says "Emergency Comm". It was a recording from my county sheriff 911 regarding a missing elderly man in the area.
Received at 0917, Mar 8. Usually don't answer unknown calls. After saying hello I heard a click as if they hung up.
Similar to some of the other comments. Called at 2:30 a.m. (!) and left message to be on the lookout for a missing senior man wearing a black and white Adidas jacket; to call my local police if I saw him.
12/8/2021 4:35pm PST - I live in the state of WA. Received a call from "Emergency Comm" on the caller ID, phone number 866-419-5000. I did not answer and received a voicemail. It appears this is a legitimate call from the county / emergency service. Here is the voicemail I received: Recorded female voice: "Attention: press any key or hold for an important message; Attention: press any key or hold for an important message; ?Attention: press any key or hold for an important message" Next an automated voice: "This a test message from Benton County Emergency Management. We are performing a test of the Code Red Emergency Notification System. If you have questions about the test or about Code Red please call 509-628-2600. This was only a test." Then I did a search of that phone number and it's legit. I was surprised.
