I was told to call 8663948866 REF#02025. When I checked the caller ID the name that showed up was As a student this scam is dangerous as I do have federal loans, but I know my repayment options and they are in deferment anyways. Make sure any students who do get this call ...
Just received second phone call from "Barbara Anderson" I have not answered and a voicemail has been left both times with different call back numbers. Definite SCAM
Deborah Anderson calling about federal student loan payment changes. Ref#02025. Annoying
Received a call this morning from this phone number, it showed up instead as 240-232-7589, but advised to call back at 866-394-8866 with reference number 02025. She said her name was Barbara Anderson and she wanted to discuss with me my options (with the new changes) for student loan repayment. Obviously, I get so much spam these days that I did not call back. Frankly, who has time for this? Anyways... get it!
Called my 87 year old mother, saying she was a co-signer on student loans. When I called the number, they hung up on me over 9 times and I never got to even know where I was calling. Scammers!
Barbara Anderson call in reference to student loans. I call the number 4 times. When i asked any questions, the call call was disconnected. They would not give me the name of the company or look up the reference i was given. They left a message stating the call was about student loans. Per Department of Educations rules, they are not allowed to say that before confirming the borrower.

My mom received the same message as everyone else. Barbara Anderson, ref# 02025. Pretty convincing robocall though. They're getting fancy with the scams.
