Woman called and told me the owner was expecting Todds #. I asked who is Todd. She said the director of Illinois. I asked the director or what for Illinois. Said something like the director or commerce and taxes. I told her we were not expecting his call. She said she will call back in 15 minutes.
asked for the owner and said they were returning a phone call (not true). Said their company name was "Mature Office Door". Girl said her name was Reem. ext. 118
Continually calls asking for the company owner (says his name wrong btw, and its not a difficult name to pronounce). Advises that that owner is expecting their call. When asked who they are, they said they were the commerce division. When asked of what company? They long paused and said with the State of Kentucky. We are are small company in Connecticut. We have received at least 5 calls from different people from this same number within the last 45 minutes.
pretends to be from NYS Commerce Dept
Caller said he was Sam Kumpler from Division of Commerce. Said he spoke with Owner - which he did not. Insisted on appointment for the "State Director" to come to the office. Such BS.
Stanton Martin claiming to be from the Commerce Division of the State of New Hampshire. Wanted to speak with company owner who he claims to have spoken with earlier in the year. Owner had no clue who he was. Caller was horrified and insulted that he was not remembered and said "X must be having a senior moment." Rude. Owner is only 45 years old.
