wtf? So is this really a scam? I literally just got off the phone with these people and they're telling me I need to pay a higher amount on my student loans to get it out of default. I decided to google the number (I didn't recognize it so I wanted to make sure they were legit) and here I am. It seems like every time I talk to someone about my student loans they tell me something different (unless it's bass & associates; they actually are legit).
