Called my wife's number, saying that I was the emergency contact for my dad and to give them a call back, providing a case #, but not giving any other information.
Said he was a police officer trying to contact my mom.
Left voice msg, said his name is Mike Sanchez and he's a process server. Then he left a msg for me on my sister's phone, she's my emergency contact. Mentioned some attorney and a case number that there's no record of. I don't have any past due debts.
Got a call, and they claimed to be some debt collector. Wanting to take me to court. Not the "person they were looking for"
