Caller ID said it was from ComEd using their 800 #, which it was, but it was someone saying that since I was such a good customer, paying my ComEd bill on time and without government assistance I could get a 30% discount on my ComED bill for 6 month. I could not talk at that time and said so, he called back in the evening, from a Ohio number and could not explain why I got a different number on my caller ID. He then started getting pushy about "are you interested in this or not". I told him I was in a city group aggregation he hung up.
The FTC received at least one complaint about 866-266-2084. The complaint did not identify the call as a robocall or recorded message. The complaint was filed on February 9, 2018. The complaint was reported in Illinois. It was placed from Rockford.
