Call claiming to be from Vicki Roma "State Number FS 793" about "Tax Debt". Obviously a scam, since it came to my work number which isn't associated to me personally in any way.
The FTC has received 61 complaints about 866-216-4257. The majority of complaints (88%) flagged this as a robocall. The last of these complaints was submitted on January 30, 2022. Complaints came from 27 states, including California, Florida, Virginia, Washington, Michigan and Oregon. The cities with the most complaints were Camarillo, Carlsbad, Los Angeles, Northridge, Oakland, San Diego, Torrance and Lakeland.
