865-867-6281 called from Knoxville,Tn at 11am and left a msg from Heather at First Horizon Bank with an 800# to call back but with no explanation of the reason for the call. I first searched the 800# and it came back as associated with the bank, so I called it and Diana came on the line and asked for my account number or social security number so she could “look up” why Heather had called and left a message. I hung up. The 800# was 800-489-4148.
This is a scam. First Horizon doesn’t call without you contacting them first.
Same thing happened to me the left a voicemail and I called my bank and it is a scam
I got a call from this number 9:19am - Left voicemail stating they are from First Horizon Bank. I called back - they answered First Horizon Bank. Guy asked me if my number was xxx-xxx-xxxx I answered yes, he stated that he needed my "account" information - I told him I did not have it and he asked for my social - I gave it (BIG MISTAKE DO NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE) - tried to tell me I was 1100.00 behind on my "business loan" - I don't have business loan - they stated their information must have pulled wrong - they then hung up - "felt wierd" - call my local branch....not them - sorry don't ever give out informaion on phone - had to place credit freeze on all three credit bureaus and now paying for "identity theft protection" - :-(
Got a call from Brandon saying he was from First Horizon bank and to please call him back. He did not say anything else about why he was calling. When I returned the call I got a lady named Rita. She asked for my social or account number. I did not give either. Hung up and called the First Horizon number on their website and my local branch. They said they had not contacted me and that they do not contact bank members without being asked to.
865-867-6281 CALLED T 9:18AM - Said it was Rita with First Horizon Bank - Please return call at 1-800-489-1414 - Monday thru Friday 9:30am-6pm - I looked online and neither of these are FHB numbers - Those are not the Bank hours - has to be a scam.
They say they are from First Tennesse Bank, but when we call the bank they check and no one has called from there or cooperate
I contacted First Tennessee. They say the call from that number was not them. They suggested putting a hold on my account. I gave them my account number. It seemed legit. I should have known better.
865-867-6281 CALLED AT 7pm EST, after Bank hours. Asking for social security number and private info as to “pull up my account”. DO NOT TRUST. CALL YOUR BANKER.
