call from this number saying that they are Spectrum and that they are offering a one time 35% off your bill. asked for spectrum acct # and security code, my name and ss# which I did not give them, then they wanted to charge a one time 19.00 for the change and could only do it by credit card not add to the bill. that was my clue. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. They even supposedly set up an appt to have a technician come out and look at our tv with a new box, because we were due for a new box and had trouble with pixeling on some of our channels. very convincing but I knew when they wanted a credit card # I had already given them too much info
