I was told I was owed a refund for an Amazon Acct. that purchased 299.00 gift card. Could not hear very well. Wanted me to open a link from PC.
Received a phone call telling me I was issued a refund. Caller had contact information, name, address, and work email. Caller sent an email to work email address. Caller wanted me to click on link which would have taken me to a page that requested that I save/download/install software that would have allowed caller to take control of my computer. It was clear caller was working at a call center, had trouble hearing caller because of other people shouting in the background. Email as been reported as pfishing email to Google.

Called and stated that I had a refund from PCMatic for $499. I then hung up. One minute later he called again and said the same thing. I hung up again. One minute later he called again and said the same thing. I then said to stop calling and that he was a scam. Did not call back.
