Call said my card had been charged $699. from Microsoft for computer protection. Played along with scammer, he kept telling me to go and open my computer I kept asking him first tell me which card you charged but he kept telling me open your computer then I will tell you.
Got a call saying he. Was to verify my cox purchase when i questioned time phone went dead
Did not answer this call.
Busy call center background noise supposedly calling on behalf of Cox. The female could not provide enough credible verbal information to even ID them as a third party vendor. I suspect a database got loose and these are international phishing calls. Reported to telco provider directly.
