Just received this call today, same exact message and I have no student loans currently. Thanks everyone.
I got the same exact message left on my phone & I don't have student loans.
Got the student loan call from Chelsea
Thanks for sharing! Got the same voicemail from Chelsea.
I’ve never had a student loan. “Help assistance my phone hey it's Chelsea with student health assistance my phone number is 855-543-8600 and I'm actually just doing a follow up call for you regarding your federal student loans um I do see here we still have you prequalified for the student loan forgiveness program I just keep in mind of these programs will change and the relief deferment forbearance is actually about to expire so I want your qualifications to change along with that am I am here all week though Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific standard time just in case again my phone number is 855-543-8600 and you can go ahead and speak to me or anyone of the representatives but I do hope to hear from you soon and have a great day to have your number added to our do not call list please call 838-222-8900…”
Thank you to the person who wrote out the translation as it confirms these calls are pre-recorded to sound genuine. Even the “ums” and dangling “I” before the sentence change to “Just keep in mind…” are the same. I can also complete your ??: “… will change and the relieve deferment for parents is actually about to expire…” And like everyone else, I’ve been out of college and all loans paid up for decades. This is my 2nd of these calls so clearly they’re just phishing.
