"Christopher" calling to let me know my federal student loan is up for annual recertification and it's "imperative" I call back to update my information. Scam.
Call stating that I need to file my recertification paperwork for my student loans.
Scam as I do not have any student loans
Came in as an unknown number. But the voicemail said this. “Good morning. My name is Jessica. I’m giving you a call in regards to your student federal loan. In the program you are currently enrolled in, it does look like your annual recertification is due. So it is imperative that you give us a call to update your information and complete the process on your behalf. The phone number you can reach us back at is 855-538-4255.” I called the number and reamed the person. She hung up on me. Shocker! Total scammer. She wants your information to commit identity fraud.
